- Paper B: Subject-specific, consisting of 120 questions.
Each question is worth one mark, and the combined total is 150 marks. The time limit remains 2.5 hours, and the exam also includes 0.25 negative marking per incorrect answer

- Primary Teacher (Varg 3): Candidates must have completed Higher Secondary (10+2) with at least 50% marks and possess a diploma in elementary education (D.El.Ed) or equivalent qualifications. Graduates with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) are also eligible, provided they complete a bridge course within two years of appointment.
- Middle and High School Teachers: For middle and high school levels, candidates need a bachelor’s degree and a B.Ed. Additionally, high school applicants should specialize in the subject they intend to teach. Reserved category candidates receive a 5% relaxation in minimum marks
