DEPUTY JAILOR 2024 Syllabus

1. Paper 1: General Hindi – This paper includes topics like pronunciation, word formation, grammar, sentence structure, and vocabulary. Key sections cover Hindi grammar, idioms, translations, and comprehension-based passages. The aim is to assess candidates’ language skills in Hindi.
2. Paper 2: General Knowledge and General Science – This paper focuses on Rajasthan’s history, art, culture, literature, and contemporary events. It also covers Indian politics, public administration, economic principles, science and technology basics, and logical reasoning. Topics in general science emphasize ecological issues, basic environmental science, and scientific advancements relevant to Rajasthan.

Each paper is 3 hours long and carries 200 marks with a mix of multiple-choice questions and a 0.33 negative marking scheme for incorrect answers. A minimum of 36% in each paper and 40% overall is required to qualify. Candidates who pass the written exam proceed to physical and medical tests, followed by an interview.
